Project Overview:
The EMS.org Press Release Distribution System disseminates news releases and media advisories via the EMS.org website and opt-in listservs.

How the Service Works:
Non-profits, universities and government agencies sign up to post their press releases and media advisories to the website. Approved groups are provided with a username/password that they can use to log in at any time and post their news item via a web form.

Each time a news item is posted, a web page for the item is automatically created – and a link to the page appears on the EMS.org homepage, a “recent releases” page and on the EMS News Center page. Additionally, each group has its own page where all of its releases are indexed.

Headlines and links to recent releases are distributed each day via email to journalists subscribers. Syndication feeds are also available.
